White Too Long
Another aspect of the epic year I write about in my book is the explosion of anti-racist education that came on the scene in 2020 after the murder of George Floyd. I heard Robert P. Jones on an episode of the Code Switch podcast and knew I had to read his book. His explanation of how white Christianity in America has fostered white supremacy was appalling and undeniable. The Mormon Church is one of the most racist churches and I felt I couldn't be a part of it any longer.
